THE END RESULT:
At the end of this class, each participant will end up with
- A pair of sneakers that they helped create.
- A sneaker construction toolkit that can be used for future shoemaking projects. 
 
FOR WHOM:
- Individuals of all skill levels interested in a unique creative experience customizing and constructing their very own pair of fashion sneakers (unisex)
 
PRIMARY FOCUS:
- Providing a rudementary understanding of how sneakers are made
- Customizing and assembling a unique pair of sneakers (unisex) (high or low tops)
- Students will create a  wearble pair of sneakers
 
OVERVIEW:
- Choice of pre-developed upper patterns (high or low top)
- Guidance in choosing your materials, colors and other embellishments (we can assist with acquiring materials if you need)
- Instruction in cutting and preparing of their shoes' uppers
- Instruction and guidance in the closing (assembling and stitching) process
- Instruction and guidance during the hands-on lasting (forming their uppers around the lasts)
- Instruction and guidance during the hands-on soling process.
 
WE WILL PROVIDE:
- The pattern (your choice of high or low top).
- A sneaker construction tool kit that each participant will keep containing the basic tools needed for shoemaking.
- All lasts, necessary components and materials needed to make their sneakers in this class.
 
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
- Most importantly, a creative and enthusiastic spirit
- Any materials, ornaments or embellishments you might want to use (at their your own expense)
