A perfect example of “necessity being the mother of invention”, I,
Ron Donovan began pursuing shoemaking solely because of my inability to find
stylish high-quality footwear for my size 15½ feet.

While I started out catering to men with extreme size needs, today, I cater to men and women of all sizes with confident style and who understand the value of quality.
In addition to my hallmark footwear, my offerings now feature
a wide range of lifestyle products, including belts, gloves, bags, and some apparel.

"The Originals & Made-To-Measures (MTO)"
"The Originals":
Originals are the ultimate in the bespoke experience. Release your inner designer by creating almost any style you can envision. You choose the toe shape, materials, color and other details. Your original designs are then built in the most appropriate standard size.
(Price based on design) (Delivery requires 16 weeks for first pair)

"The Made-To-Measures (MTM)":
Enables you to add a customized fit to your bespoke footwear. A last (a mold over which shoes are created) will be crafted reflecting YOUR specific measurements and used to make each pair of your shoes.
(MTO or Original cost + "MTM" charge of $2,600) (Delivery requires 16 weeks)

"How It All Works"
STEP 1) Schedule Your Appointment:
Appointments can be either in-person (depending on location) or virtual (Telephone, WhatsApp or Zoom). To schedule, simply contact us via telephone at 646.232.5618 or email at info@rondonovandesigns.com.

STEP 2) Design Your Footwear:
During your appointment, one of our experienced designers will assist you with selecting the details that create your perfect "solemates" such as sizing, models, lasts, materials/colors, finishes, and a variety of other details (soles, laces, other personalization).

STEP 3) Sit Back and Let Us Do What We Do:
Your unique creations will be hand-crafted in our Italian factory and delivered to you in a specified amount of time (determined at time of order contingent upon production loads).
